This is where Your story Becomes Art
I’m Barbara Jerković Golob - wedding photographer, visual storyteller, and the person behind Reborn Weddings. My studio is based in Hvar Town, in the heart of Dalmatian coast, and I have been photographing weddings here for years.
I started Reborn Wedding because I believed wedding photography could be something more. More than posed portraits. More than a record of the day. I wanted to create images that held the actual feeling of a moment - the way time slowed down when you saw each other, the way the light fell across the water, the laughter that broke through just before a tear.
My approach blends two things that are often treated as opposites: candid, unposed moments and intentional artistic direction. I never ask you to freeze and perform. Instead I guide you gently — a quiet word, a suggested movement — so that what the camera captures is real, but also beautiful. The result is a gallery that feels alive and genuine, but is also visually refined in every frame.
That belief became a philosophy, and that philosophy became a style; refined, emotional, cinematic. My work is intentional at every step - in how I read a room, how I position myself for light, how I guide you gently when guidance is needed and disappear completely when it’s not.
Living in Hvar means I know this island intimately. I know its venues, its light, its rhythm across every season. I know the hidden locations that make for extraordinary portraits and the moments in a Hvar wedding day that demand perfect timing. That local depth is woven into every gallery I deliver.
But beyond Hvar, I bring the same presence and intentionality to every wedding I photograph - whether in Istria, Split, Dubrovnik, Tuscan hills, or cliffs of Ireland. The place changes, but the philosophy doesn’t.
My couples are discerning. They care deeply about their images. They want a photographer who is calm under pressure, genuinely invested in their story, and capable of creating something truly beautiful - not just technically correct. If that sounds like you, I think we will work wonderfully together.
Your gallery should be a legacy. Let’s make it one.
